Actually, it combines all that people share in a place: their histrory and linked heritage, artistic movements (music, painting...), gastronomy, different languages, fashion, local customs...
That's why we decided to offer you a discovery of the cultural diversity of the world!
Our blog isn't a travel blog: rather than list advice to visit a particular country and the places not to be missed, we are going to present different aspects of the cultures of the countries, those that marked us during our travels or those that we prefer or that puzzle us.
Bringing culture to light is a very interesting approach to give an overview of a country: it's the best way to go directly to the beating heart of a country. Moreover discovering other cultures enables people to open their minds and broaden their horizons.
We are convinced that the world is a patchwork of many different cultures, which have all something interesting to teach us.
Although this is only through a screen, we hope you will be able to dream and experience a journey by being immersed in what could be compared to an explosion of flavors through reading our articles! It's something that is important to us in this complicated time of pandemic COVID-19.
That's why we decided to call it Eskapi, which means "Escape" in Esperanto.
